IceFishingAR is a premium fly fishing outfitter based in Santa Cruz, Argentina. We run a small number of trips each season on two of the most storied waters on earth — the Río Gallegos and Jurassic Lake — and we run them properly.

Our guides grew up on this steppe. They read the wind before it arrives, know which pool holds fish at which hour of the tide cycle, and have spent decades putting anglers from twenty countries onto the fish of their lives. Everything around the fishing — the lodge, the transfers, the food, the timing of your week — is arranged so that all you have to think about is the next cast.

    Contact us

    Tell us who is coming, when, and what you want out of the week. We reply within 24 hours with real availability — never a brochure.

  2. Step 02

    Trip planning

    We build the itinerary around tides, moon and river levels, then confirm lodge, beats, flights and any non-fishing days for partners.

  3. Step 03

    Arrival in Argentina

    You land at Río Gallegos or El Calafate. Someone from our team is waiting past customs with your name and a cold bottle of water.

  4. Step 04

    Transfer to the lodge

    Private vehicle or charter across the steppe. You arrive to your room, a rod-rigging table and dinner already on the fire.

  5. Step 05

    Guided fishing days

    Six full days on rotating private beats, two anglers per guide, with a riverside asado at midday and the freedom to fish late when it is worth it.

  6. Step 06

    Departure

    Late breakfast, gear dried and packed for you, transfer back to the airport — and your catch log and photographs in your inbox before you land home.
